Mandie is the founder of Fireside Chat Ministries. She’s a devoted wife to Jimmy and adoring mom to Pickles, the funniest feline in town. Her specialty is deliverance ministry. Her earnest desire is to see the world healed, set free, and delivered. When she’s not working as a content marketing specialist, she’s writing or reading by the pool. Or, more likely, taking a nap.

About Fireside Chat Ministries
This ministry was birthed out of incredible pain. A brain on fire, caused by trauma and complex PTSD. Now, instead of a brain on fire, we have hearts on fire for Christ. For telling others about the God who is only loving and has good plans for His kids, even when life is not good. Our desire is for you to pull up a chair as we recount the many, many stories of our lives and the goodness of God that saw us through every step of the way. We have a lot to learn, but still so much to teach. So grab a cup and sidle up to the fire for a good chat. We’re glad you’re here.

Jimmy Nelson
Jimmy is the younger brother you always wish you had. He’s funny and sensitive and kind. His superpower is offering unconditional love and wearing funky-colored glasses that only he or Elton John could pull off. He co-founded Fireside Chat Ministries with Mandie, the bride of his youth, in 2022. When he’s not out walking in nature, he’s probably watching football or catering to Pickles (probably both).
